fheroes2-pkg software package provides fheroes2 package downloader and builder, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fheroes2-pkg
fheroes2-pkg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fheroes2-pkg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fheroes2-pkg *
You will get with fheroes2-pkg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
